Where to Buy Kobe Beef in Los Angeles
1. Kagaya
For a place like this, I would forgo the seafood options and just order the wagyu beef. It's really sensational!
Best deal in my opinion is the surf and turf. Wagyu beef and Alaskan king crab leg shabu. Just enough to prime you for the congee they cook in your broth afterwards.
WAGYU!!!!! Remember to make reservations ahead of time and definitely try the wagyu beef! Service is very good here as well!
2. Katsuya Hollywood
My preferable restaurant in LA, cucumber sunomono salad, kobe beef with foie gras, ahi tuna with crispy onion. So good!
#TreatYoSelf to out-of-the-world sushi with Kobe Beef on the side, caviar & salmon or baked crab hand roll and pricey drinks! YUM!
Kobe beef topped with foie gras? Yes please. Indulge in truly gourmet Japanese cuisine.
3. Saint Felix
Get the Kobe beef slider and sweet potato fries
Kobe beef sliders are amazing; a must try!
Great happy hour deals. The Kobe sliders are excellent.
4. Catch LA
Great ambiance and cocktails. The "All That Glitters" comes with a flask. Food wise, recommend the Wagyu Tacos, Rock Shrimp, and the Salmon Sashimi.
Lobster Mac'n'cheese & fries were ok. wagyu tacos were too sweet, the cod was over cooked. Nice atmosphere & staff were wonderful. Food was BAD. Reception & guy at door were not nice. Never again.
Wagyu tacos + lobster rolls
5. Nobu
I felt that the Wagyu tacos have too much shell. Order the whole lobster that is also off the menu. It's to die for!
Recommended to order: kobe beef tacos, salmon sashimi, yellowtail with jalapeño, black cod with miso, rock shrimp, spicy tuna roll, and for dessert bento box.
Wagyu Tacos...
6. Nanbankan
Wagyu Kobe Beef, Hatsu, Live Scallop, Black Cod. That is all.
Must Try: Nanbanyaki, Kobe Beef, Chicken Tail (yup) and Lamb
Great little spot for two. Try the chicken meatballs or the chilean sea bass.
Kobe beef sliders are the best

Don't overlook the bar menu! Delicious flat breads, Kobe beef sliders and oysters mignonette. If ordering from the full dinner menu, their fresh pasta dishes are better than the entrees IMO.
9. BOA Steakhouse
Japanese wagyu is my favorite. Love the atmosphere. Caesar salad made tableside is delicious, crab cocktail, tuna tartar, mac n cheese, sweet potato fries. S'more dessert. Blonde hostess w bangs is rude.

Eggs Benedict, the smoked salmon on pumpernickel w/ EVOO on side, Kobe burger, Lobster Mac.
The staff is second to none. Pool area is also beautiful and calming - music plays underwater
